Cancelling an order

You can cancel within 24 hours of placing an order and get a full refund. After that the artist may already have started, and cancelling may no longer be possible.

Before it ships

You see a photograph of the finished painting before it is dispatched, and the artist adjusts it until you approve it. That is the best moment to ask for a change: it is quicker than any return.

90 days from delivery

If the painting does not work in your space, you have 90 days from delivery to ask for a resolution. Each painting is made by hand for one order and cannot be resold, so the resolution follows this order:

• Rework: the artist revises the painting at no cost until it matches what you expected. This always comes first.
• Store credit: where rework is not possible, you receive store credit for the painting. It never expires.
• Refund: a cash refund is at our discretion, depending on the painting, its condition when we inspect it, and the circumstances. A refund goes back to the original payment method.

What a return needs

• Authorization first: write to info@art-and-see.com with your order number before sending anything back. Every return needs our authorization, and a parcel sent without one cannot be processed or credited.
• Original condition: the painting has to be unaltered and in its original packaging. Every return is inspected when it arrives.
• Return shipping: you arrange it and pay for it, and the parcel is your responsibility until it reaches us.
• Not refunded: shipping costs and import duties.
• Once a year: one return per customer in any 365-day period.
• Original buyer: this guarantee belongs to the person who placed the order and cannot be transferred.

Frames are final sale

Frames are costly and fragile to ship across borders, so a frame cannot be returned. You can still return the painting under this policy; the frame stays with you.

How long it takes

Every return is resolved within 14 days of the painting reaching us and being inspected.

This policy may change. The version in effect when you placed your order is the one that applies to it.
